Heart of Illinois Volunteers Skills Link is dedicated to linking talented volunteers with nonprofits to impact our community.
Nonprofit organizations can have more than one profile on the Skills Link networking site if your organization has more than one staff member or lead volunteer who is recruiting volunteers to support your work/mission.
To join Skills Link:
- Answer a few questions about your agency and the specific skills or experience you are seeking.
- Once your response is received by the Heart of Illinois United Way, we will review your information and approve your profile.
- Login to your account to add more details about your organization and post skills-based volunteer opportunities.
- Search volunteer profiles on Skills Link to connect with the many talented volunteers in our area.
- Keep your profile updated and post opportunities so volunteers can see if they have any skills that would benefit your nonprofit.
